Terms & Cancellation

What you are booking

A request submitted on this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. Explore Medina confirms your tour with you on WhatsApp, including the final price, the pickup time and the itinerary. Your tour is confirmed only once we have told you so.

Payment

No payment is taken through this website. Price and payment are agreed directly with your guide when we confirm the booking. Prices shown on the site are in Saudi Riyals and state whether they are per private group or per person.

Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your tour is due to start. Within 24 hours, contact us on WhatsApp — we will do what we can, but we may not be able to release the guide and vehicle already held for you.

If we have to cancel — for weather, a vehicle problem, or anything else on our side — we will offer you another date or refund any amount you have paid, whichever you prefer.

Changes on the day

Sites occasionally close without notice, and prayer times, crowds and traffic can change what is sensible on the day. Your guide will suggest an alternative of equivalent value rather than simply dropping a stop.

Being on time

Please be in the lobby at the agreed time. We will wait, and we will call you, but a late start may shorten the tour because the guide and vehicle are usually booked afterwards.

Children and accessibility

Children are welcome and child seats are provided at no extra cost. Tell us about mobility needs when you book so the route and vehicle suit them. We would rather tell you honestly in advance that something is difficult than discover it on the day.

Access to religious and historical sites

Access to some sites depends on your circumstances and the timing of your visit. We do not control it and cannot guarantee entry to any specific site. Your guide will explain what is possible before you arrive at each stop.

Conduct

Please respect the places we visit and the people who live and work there. We may end a tour without refund in the case of behaviour that is unsafe or disrespectful to a site, our staff or other guests.
